Wemind brings TEDx to Copenhagen

During the last two years Wemind has been working with TEDxCopenhagen to create an institution in Copenhagen where we can share and spread ideas. TED has made it possible to share a TED like experience with the TEDx concept and we are happy to hold the license for Copenhagen.

A couple of weeks ago the second event took place in Copenhagen in Pressen, Politikens Hus. What a day! Ideas about biking without helmets, a mountain in a very flat country, danes in space, great openminded people, a delicious fish for lunch raised by Miguel in Spain, music, wine and a sparkling atmosphere. Thank you all for making that happen! Watch pictures from the day here

Tomorrow some of the talks will be broadcast on Danskernes Akademi on DR2 and we are proud to be part of the partnership DR has initiated with TED.com, whichs allows them to broadcast TED talks on television. This is great news for the people who are not watching video online.

So tune in tomorrow from 2pm – 4pm and watch a selection of the talks. You can also find all talks from the day on the TEDxCopenhagen website. If you want to stay informed about TEDxCopenhagen in 2011 you can follow us on facebook or sign up on the network

One of my favorite talks is by Kristian von Bengtson. He makes building a space rocket sound so easy, that I want to start building one next weekend!
